The Blitz

Swimming in a sea of bliss
At the bottom of the blue abyss

Sat a group of anthozoa
Enthusiastically practicing yoga

The days were all filled with fun
Looking around, catching plankton

They sat around, wondering what to do
Talking together as they chew

[Begin Chorus]------------------------
Blowing his stuffy nose
Recounting the stuff he knows

Nothing like this has happened before
You should take a nap, even snore

Head right way for the door,
There is no time to plan anymore

Everyone should call it quits
Here comes the Blitz

Lamprey came by to spread the news
Dry-landers were coming on a cruise

Darkness filled the watery room
In response to the impending doom

Gambusias started to cry in torrents
All eyes looking for assurance

And the Coral went on to say
We're sure everything will be ok

Emergency meetings were held
Committee's fears could not be quelled

The Coral was the voice of calm
Like a soothing application of lip balm

The Coral said we should just relax
There is no need for a heart attack

Just sit tight and things will pass
Don't swim wildly around like the Bass

Two days later a ship appeared
And the all plans were executed

Logperch manned the defenses
While Tuna balanced the expenses

Still the Coral preached for peace
All this hostility must cease

The Dry-landers came and despite the plans
Caught them and ate them with lemons
